The villa was built in 2006 in honor of our beloved mother, the late Marie De Grace. The villa is much more than your typical villa as it was structured to embody comfort and carefully located to provide a breathtaking view of the sunset/sunrise overlooking Port-Au-Prince Bay. Hummingbirds, known as the Flower Bird by the French, are often seen flying around the grounds making for a more peaceful scenery.
The safety of our customers is our main priority here at Clos De Marie Villa. We have regular government visits by water and on land, walls higher than 6 feet, and a gated entrance. The entrance is locked 24/7 and monitored by our staff. The gate to the beach is also always locked unless requested to be opened for use.
Our villa features 5 suites with a refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, coffee maker, and desk. Our suites are designed to have ample space for your luggage with closet space. Our main suite offers a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, breakfast nook, a glass shower, and maid service. The main suite was designed with Italian tile work and Haitian paintings and wood carvings to accentuate the Haitian culture.
In effort to make sure that you get most of the beach and stunning views, all meals can be served on your choice of two balconies or a gazebo, whether you choose something from our menu or try a local favorite. Our menu offers a variety of options from a fresh fruit platter from the mango, banana, and coconut trees to the Haitian favorite, conch.
The villa has a multifaceted lobby whether you would like to watch TV, relax with a book, or host your next event. There is a dance area connected to a balcony to accommodate our special guests that is perfect for dancing while overlooking Port-Au-Prince Bay as the moon glistens off of the water.
Close De Marie specializes in hosting all special events including and not limited to honeymoons, weddings, business meeting, seminars, and family reunions.
